BME Symposium on AI and Data Science 2024: Exploring AI Innovation in Biomedical Science

Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) will host the BME Symposium on AI and Data Science 2024, a prestigious event that brings together experts in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science in the biomedical field. The symposium was held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, 09.00 – 12.30 WIB, at the ITB DPITM Auditorium, PAU Building 8th floor, Jalan Ganesha No. 10, Bandung, Indonesia.

Leading Speakers in AI and Biomedicine
Four renowned speakers will be attending this event to share their insights and experiences in the application of AI and data science in biomedicine and healthcare:

Desiree Abdurrachim, Ph.D. – Principal Scientist at MSD Singapore, who will discuss the role of research in the development of AI for the medical world.
Prof. Leo Anthony Celi, MD, MPH, MSc. – Principal Research Scientist at MIT, known as an expert in the use of AI for health data analysis and clinical decision making.
Dewi Nur Aisyah, SKM, MSc, DIC, PhD – Technical Advisor at Primary Care Digital Transformation, Technology Transformation Office, Indonesian Ministry of Health, who will discuss the implementation of digital transformation in healthcare.
Dr. Anto Satriyo Nugroho, B.Eng., M.Eng. – Head of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity Research Center at BRIN, who will discuss the challenges and opportunities of AI in cybersecurity and health data.
