ACM Bandung Chapter Supports International Seminar on Digital Twins and Personalization in Closed-Loop Bioelectronic Systems

ACM Bandung Chapter supported the international seminar titled “Digital Twins and Personalization in Closed-Loop Bioelectronic Systems,” organized by the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung, on April 15, 2026. The event was held at the Multimedia Room, Labtek VIII Building, 3rd Floor, ITB Ganesha Campus, from 10:30 to 12:10 WIB.

The seminar featured Dr. Vega Pradana Rachim, Research Scientist at the Integrated BioElectronics Laboratory and the Research Center for Translational Medical Devices (CENTMED), New York University Abu Dhabi, as the keynote speaker. He presented recent advancements in digital twins and personalization approaches for closed-loop bioelectronic systems, highlighting their potential in modern healthcare technology.

Prior to the seminar, a meeting was also held to discuss potential collaboration between STEI ITB and the Integrated BioElectronics Laboratory and CENTMED at New York University Abu Dhabi. The discussion explored opportunities for academic and research collaboration in bioelectronics, intelligent healthcare systems, translational medical devices, and related interdisciplinary areas.

The seminar session was moderated by Ir. Astri Handayani, S.T., M.T., who facilitated an interactive discussion between the speaker and participants. The event provided a valuable platform for students, faculty members, researchers, and professionals to exchange insights on the future of adaptive, intelligent, and personalized medical technologies.

Through its support for this activity, ACM Bandung Chapter continues to strengthen the computing and technology research community by encouraging academic exchange, international collaboration, and interdisciplinary innovation in areas where computing, bioelectronics, and healthcare technology intersect.
